Ubud is the spiritual center of Bali. It’s the city where yoga, meditation, and all kinds of authentic classes on energy healing, soul healing, and more are most readily available.
Additionally, Ubud is located rather centrally on the island, which makes it a neat spot to take day trips from.
However, if you’re looking for the beach life, or even itching a little for partying while in Bali, I’d recommend checking out Canggu instead.

What is the best time to visit Bali?
The best time to visit Bali is between May/June or October. During these months, itās shoulder season. While tourists will be fewer due to work and school schedules, the weather will be fantastic and youāll have the best chance at catching Mama Bali at her best.
If you don’t mind tourists too much, the summer months – June until September – are great, too. the weather is great during that time, which keeps the humidity somewhat in check.
