In fact, you can build up your client base entirely without social media — that way, you can build up remote income without your boss finding out, and quit from a place of abundance. (Full disclosure: I quit with no plan and a few thousands dollars to my name) moving on: What you need: Clarity on your business idea: what part of your experience or expertise do you want to turn into a business? (Comment “GUIDE” and I’ll send you mine for free to help you figure this out) One high ticket offer that you can sell 1:1. A higher priced offer is actually much easier to sell than a hundred dollar offer. It will also make the biggest difference to your bottom line and lay the foundation for all future offers. A list of people you already know and want to / can help. You already have the contact info of your first handful of clients, likely more. This is why there’s no need for an online presence. All you need is the courage and a bit of strategy to reach out to your network and offer your services. (in a real conversation, not by liking five posts) 2- How have I served today, and whom? (not in a post, but a direct offer of support) (2-2 Do I follow @DinaSeeksFreedom for daily coaching business guidance?) 3- How many calls have I booked/had? (read: did you actually invite to sales calls?) 4- How often did I sell? (in stories, in posts, newsletters, on calls) 5- Did I show up to create content or to serve a handful of individuals? It’s hardly ever about the number of your followers, it’s about the extent to which you’re willing to slow down to truly serve the individual souls that represent those followers. This way, the size of your audience becomes less and less important to your bottom line. “I only have 500 followers” could become “I have t “I only have 500 followers” could become “I have the opportunity to serve 500 humans”. You only need 10 clients, if that, to build a thriving coaching business…why chase 10s of thousands of followers? Where are you at in your coaching business?
And it’s not even a sales problem per se. It’s th And it’s not even a sales problem per se. It’s that they don’t actually sell to begin with. This is the grotesque world we live in on the Internet: marketing bros teaching content and audience growth, but not the art of selling. If you keep posting and growing your audience, but dont’ make the money you’d like to make, ask yourself: How often did you sell this week? How many people did you invite to a sales call? How many proposals/pitches did you make? How often did you sell your offer in your content, your stories, your notes? It might just be that you have to up the frequency with which you sell, not the number of posts you publish. And as a coach, you’re a uniquely skilled sales person.
