This is the grotesque world we live in on the Internet: marketing bros teaching content and audience growth, but not the art of selling. If you keep posting and growing your audience, but dont’ make the money you’d like to make, ask yourself: How often did you sell this week? How many people did you invite to a sales call? How many proposals/pitches did you make? How often did you sell your offer in your content, your stories, your notes? It might just be that you have to up the frequency with which you sell, not the number of posts you publish. And as a coach, you’re a uniquely skilled sales person. The changes I’d make if my business wasn’t allowin The changes I’d make if my business wasn’t allowing me to live EXACTLY the life I’d want: ✨MESSAGING: Do I say what my soul needs to communicate? If not, your message fits onto a worksheet from a coach who wasn’t living brave enough to coach you off the page. ➡️Spend a month ONLY talking about what’s truly on your heart. No filter, no hooks, no strategy. You might need to change your platform as well. ✨STRUCTURE (Offers): Are your offers providing you with the income AND time you desire? Not ‘good enough’, but ‘splendid’? If not, your offers are industry standard, but nowhere near a vessel of your own autonomy and your true purpose. ➡️If there are no rules, how would you engage with your clients? It might be time to retire some offers, add lower-priced offers, hone your offer suite, and create luxurious clients experiences and low-effort but life changing passive offers. ✨SYSTEMS: Are you still charging cards manually and sending out contracts by email? If you client onboarding isn’t automated, you’re losing money and time for no reason. It’s not ‘tailored experience’, it’s actually unprofessional. Same for your client nurturing - once your clients are inside your offers, they should be nurtured into the next offer on auto-pilot. ➡️Invest time in adding systems, platforms, a VA, and email sequences to automate everything you do more than twice. ✨SELLING (Prices) Do you love selling? Like, do you rave about your offers in a way that makes buying them irresistible? If not, it could be as simple as your prices not being aligned with your goals. Or something much deeper: a fear of exceeding your parents’ income levels, the fear of what you might lose when you’re the first millionaire in your family, or the fear of being rejected and ridiculed. ➡️Run the numbers - can you reach your goals with your current fees and offers? Of so, and you still hate it, dig deeper: What are you afraid of? What would happen if you led your business efforts What would happen if you led your business efforts from the same place you lead your coaching sessions? —From connection, from soul, from compassion and non-judgment? The more you can slow yourself down in this tender phase of launching your business, and fully lean into this unique skill to connect with another’s soul, the faster you’ll grow your business. Here’s what I mean: Instead of studying your reel stats, send a gentle thank you message to all those who liked the reel, and open up a conversation. Instead of recreating a trend, send a welcome voice note to all new followers, even if it’s only one. Instead of emailing the details of your offer, invite to a no-strings-attached conversation to explore together. Instead of pitching on your call, co-create a future together and suggest your offer as a bridge to get there. Instead of building a sales funnel from scratch, reconnect with your former colleagues. Most new coaches have known their first clients for years. The only thing it takes is the willingness to (re)-connect and then lead with service. (tell me in the comments how many apply (or used to apply) to you!) I don’t share this to look down on nomads. Nah, nomading was one of the most revealing journey I’ve ever taken myself on. But traveling full-time AND growing a business full-time took a hard toll on my health and my income. 🤯🤯Meanwhile, I noticed recently that most of my most successful clients are at least semi-settled: travel is part of their lifestyle and so we built a business that supports that. But they also had a say in the desk chair and mattress they work and sleep on. If you truly are serious about your business, make complete location-independence the goal, not the strategy. ‼️ here’s what I mean: let’s build a business - set with offers that self-sell, organic sales strategies, and an audience that truly wants to hear from you - that grants you complete freedom to travel regularly, even full-time. Let’s just make sure that when you’re in growth phases, you’re put, healthily fed, properly sleeping, and know where the next supermarket is. Important growth phases in business: 💸The first year (or your first $50k) 💸Your first 1:Many offer launch 💸The first 6 months of diversifying your offer suite 💸Scaling from $100k to multiple six figures. As an industry, we’re finally moving into true ent As an industry, we’re finally moving into true entrepreneurship. The ‘one course only’ folks are slowly quieting down (likely returning to better business models or a job). But the thought (hope?) of ‘simply putting together one course’ lingers and it’s hurting you. First of, hi, I”m Dina and I mentor new and established coaches to build a business that’s purpose-aligned and sells five figures a month, even without an audience. If that’s your gem, double tab and follow me @DinaSeeksFreedom we can stay in touch <3 A course is great, but only if it’s part of an offer suite that naturally supports your ideal clients’ growth journey. Throw together a course with your entire knowledge, and you’ll end up with a hefty price tag on client acquisition because if you don’t bring new people in the course…you’ll end up flatlining your revenue. However, if you create multiple offers that all sell into one another, now your one course can sell into the next, your customer lifetime value skyrockets, and your cost of client acquisition goes down (and so does your heart rate). Long term business success doesn’t come from sales schemes and exact frameworks. It comes from customer loyalty. So here’s how my clients build it: They start their business with ONE high ticket offer that they can deliver 1:1. Brings in cash quickly, and gives you as the new coach crucial insights into your customer journey. Next, my clients create an ‘audience builder’ offer. This one is paid, and requires less (or even none) of your time for delivery. It’s designed to solve ONE super specific problem of your ideal client, and meant to build trust with a new customer. From there, my clients set out to build a few (but more than one) targeted offers. These offers become the backbone for their business’s success and their lifestyle location and time freedom.
