Stop procrastinating the rest of your life. Do it Stop procrastinating the rest of your life. Do it imperfectly.

(And no, I don’t mean quit with zero savings and absolutely no plan. Please be an adult 😄)

What I mean is this:

Back in 2019, I had known for YEARS that I was following a path that felt safe… and more importantly, understandable.

Graduating summa cum laude? My family understood that.

Landing an expat job before graduation? Impressive.

Promotion after 4 months? “We’re proud of you.”

But wanting to throw it all away to travel, build a business, and create a life where I could live anywhere, choose freedom, and never care about a resume gap again?

Not understandable.

Barely explainable to myself.

So I stayed.

And for at least a year in Los Angeles, I drove myself to the office every day whispering:

“One day.”

One day, when I’m older.
One day, when I have more savings.
One day, after another degree (yes, I almost did a Master’s just to stay on the traditional path 😅)

Until one day I realized:

If I didn’t make TODAY that “one day”, it might never come.

So I opened my calendar.

Typed: HAND IN RESIGNATION.

Booked a flight. Bought a backpack.

And suddenly things started moving.

An opportunity to save more appeared.

The person who would become my first mentor walked into the office.

A friend called about his travels.

And one week before I was due to resign, I was offered my dream job.

I resigned the next day.

So if you keep saying “one day”…

What happens if you choose a date and let yourself grow into it?

🤍 5 Quiet Actions That Create Coaching Clients

The internet makes it look like business growth ha The internet makes it look like business growth happens publicly.

But most growth actually happens privately.

Not ALL of it. But especially early on, the best growth strategies involve:

Coffee chats.
Voice notes.
Reconnect messages.
Past clients.
Story replies.
Former colleagues.

“Hey, I thought of you.”
“Would you like support with that?”
“I saw your post and this reminded me of a client.”

Public audience growth is absolutely a part of it:
Content.
Followers.
Algorithms.
Virality.

But that alone won’t get you the sort of business results you’re looking for.

Most successful coaches lean into quiet relationship-building first, every single day.

My client recently generated over $11K before her launch officially opened.

Not from a viral Reel, a funnel, or ads.

From conversations with current clients, past clients, and warm leads already in her world.

This is why I care so deeply about relationship-first sales.

Because I don’t think most newer coaches have a content problem.

I think they have a relationship strategy problem.

That is exactly what I teach inside Clients without Audience.

This month I’m turning it into a small implementation experience:

Watch the class → spend a week with me privately in the DMs.

We’ll work through:

✨ offer
✨ outreach
✨ who to contact
✨ sales calls

$39. Available through May.

Now, striking out alone IS the right move. We sho Now, striking out alone IS the right move.

We should test.
Experiment.
Follow our curiosity.

But I’ve noticed something over and over again in entrepreneurship:

The cost of delaying support is unusually high, and it’s usually invisible:

It looks like:
A year spent building systems instead of clients.
Another season in a job you desperately want to leave.
Six more months trying to “figure out” an offer.
Quietly delaying the launch.
Or “returning to corporate life” after a year.

Waiting until you feel ready.

Meanwhile, one of my clients created $65K in her first year in business using mostly relationships and the network she already had.

Another generated over $11K before her launch even opened.

Another attended one event and walked away with six discovery calls.

None of them needed more information.

They needed support, courage, accountability, and someone to walk with them.

I still remember my first investment in business.

I wasn’t asking:
“Can I afford this?” (I couldn’t. I took out from savings, put some on a credit card, and bet on my business growth for the second payment)

I was asking:
“Am I willing to stay exactly where I am?” (I wasn’t. It would have cost much more than money)

That question changed everything.

This is also why I created Clients without Audience.
Because newer coaches don’t need another funnel.
They need clients.

This month I’m offering the masterclass + a week of private DM implementation support.

We’ll work through:

✨ offer
✨ who to contact
✨ outreach
✨ sales conversations

$39 through May.

I lost a year trying to avoid sales calls. 🤨😳 The I lost a year trying to avoid sales calls. 🤨😳

The year was 2025. And though I “should have known better” as a former fundraiser, I suddenly became obsessed with passive income: courses sold overnight, upsells on auto-pilot, fewer client hours, more systems.

When I reviewed my numbers at the end of last year, I realized something surprising:

Every single client had come through a relationship.

Referrals. DMs. Conversations. People who had been quietly in my world for months.

The systems weren’t useless. They helped nurture people.

But they weren’t creating clients.

People were.

So this year, I changed (reverted, really) my approach.

I still use smart systems. I still have automated nurturing and intuitive upsells inside my offer suite.

But my focus is now on the one skill I believe every coach needs:

Relationship building.

Looking back, it makes perfect sense.

Coaching requires trust.

Coaching IS a relationship.

Why wouldn’t we sell it through relationships?

So if you’ve been told that:

A) you’re not a “real” business owner unless everything sells passively

or

B) you need a stack of low-ticket offers before you can grow…

…I want to gently challenge that.

You can absolutely build a coaching business through conversations, referrals, relationships, and thoughtful invitations.

That is exactly what I teach inside Clients without Audience.

This month, I’m turning it into a small implementation experience:

Watch the masterclass → then spend a week with me privately in the DMs.

We’ll work through:

✨ your offer
✨ who to reach out to
✨ outreach
✨ sales calls

It’s $39 and only available through May.

One of the biggest mistakes I made in business was One of the biggest mistakes I made in business was abandoning the people I already knew and starting from zero.

When I pivoted away from supporting musician-entrepreneurs and further into business coaching, I started a brand new Instagram account.

I also deleted my email list.

Meaning: I walked away from hundreds of relationships I had spent two years building.

At the time, I told myself:

“Of course revenue dipped. I pivoted.”

But looking back, I don’t think the pivot was the issue.

I think I misunderstood what actually creates clients.

Those relationships? They were already trust, credibility, conversations, referrals, future clients.

I threw away momentum.

And this is what I see newer coaches do all the time:

They start over.
They chase followers.
They obsess over content.

Meanwhile, the next client is often already in their world:

Former clients.
Friends.
Old colleagues.
Podcast guests.
People already watching quietly.

When the question stops being:

“How do I grow faster?”

And becomes:

“How can I deepen one relationship today?”

That single shift can change everything. 👇🏻👇🏻

If you’re building a coaching business and want to learn how to create clients without relying on audience size, I turned my Clients Without Audience masterclass into a mini implementation experience.

$39 + a week of private coaching support with me through May

One of the biggest business mistakes I see newer c One of the biggest business mistakes I see newer coaches make is waiting until they feel “ready enough” before investing in the mentorship they actually want.

But the truth is:
the right mentor is SUPPOSED to stretch your identity, your self-concept, your standards, and your vision for your life.

If you already felt fully comfortable stepping into that room, you probably wouldn’t need the expansion in the first place.

The question is not:
“Am I advanced enough yet?”

The question is:
“Am I willing to grow into the next version of myself?”

Have you ever delayed investing in support because part of you didn’t feel “ready” yet?
One of the biggest mistakes I see newer coaches ma One of the biggest mistakes I see newer coaches make is assuming they need MORE people before they can make money.

More followers.
More reach.
More visibility.
More audience.

Meanwhile, they’re overlooking the people already quietly watching, listening, referring, engaging, and trusting them.

I built my first coaching business almost entirely through relationships.

Not funnels.
Not ads.
Not viral content.

Relationships.

And to this day, when I help early-stage coaches sign clients, we almost always begin with two questions:

1. What transformation do you create?
2. Who do you already know that has this problem?

That second question changes businesses.

Because relationship-first sales is not about pitching everyone you know. 😅

It’s about:

* building trust
* leading conversations
* creating genuine connection
* and becoming someone people naturally think of when they’re ready for support.

The online business world has massively overcomplicated this.

Relationships still build businesses. Probably now more than ever.

What’s one relationship in your life you know you could nurture more intentionally?
One of the biggest misconceptions newer coaches ha One of the biggest misconceptions newer coaches have is that they need a huge audience before they can create meaningful income.

Meanwhile, some of the strongest business growth I’ve witnessed has happened quietly:

through DMs, referrals, conversations, reconnecting with former clients, and courageous invitations.

This client generated $11,000 before her launch officially started.
Not because she suddenly became “better at content.”

Because she stepped into stronger leadership and got deeply intentional about relationship-first sales.

This is exactly what I teach inside CLIENTS WITHOUT AUDIENCE:
✨ a $39 on-demand masterclass on creating high-ticket coaching clients without funnels, bro marketing, or a huge audience.

through May 31, you’ll also get a week of private DM coaching support from me to help implement the process. The value is actually 🤯🤯

Actually, I didn’t even use social media for the f Actually, I didn’t even use social media for the first few years. Not with a clear commitment anyway. And now we’ve arrived in this AI-focused market where, before long, AI is going to talk to AI about AI and no one with an actual life and credit card will read your posts anymore.

As a former fundraiser, it’s always been the more natural choice for me to build businesses with a relationship-first approach to sales and clients. That’s more true now than it’s ever been before. In the 2026 online market, consumers are gravitating towards intimate spaces, and so the voice memo, the sales call, and high-level masterminds are making a comeback.

The questions I ask in the video will not only help you launch your business from scratch, but also make sure it sustains growth over the next coming years.

What do you wish you’d known when you launched your business?
