You've been lied to about these 3 things: No. 1: You've been lied to about these 3 things: No. 1: The biggest lie business coaches tell you is that you can build a business in ten hours a week. LIES! 🙅‍♀️ You can sustain a successful business in that time, but not build it. 💯 When I first quit, I was grinding every single day — seven days a week, from my mom’s basement, eating snacks she’d lovingly shove on my desk. 🍩 The money will come, so will the time freedom... but it takes a shitload of discipline to get there. 💪 No. 2: You need a large audience to start making money. BS! 🚫 What you need is a killer offer and the courage to go out there and sell it. 🤑 Or as my client put it: “I tried to get rejected last night and ended up on a date.” 😂 SAME goes for clients. The more you put yourself out there, the more you’ll attract the right ones. No. 3: The flip side to all of this: If you’ve been at this for years, only have 1:1 clients, and STILL can’t comfortably pay your bills... You’ve got a STRUCTURE problem. ⚠️ While 1:1 is an explosive way to start, it’s NOT how you’ll sustain your business long-term. Start here: Look at the five things you repeat over and over again. Can you turn them into evergreen offers or at least systematize them? In summary: If you’re not seeing the time and financial freedom you’d hoped for, put on your detective hat 🕵️‍♀️ and assess: ✨ Are you putting in the WORK? ✨ Are you SELLING? ✨ Do you have one or multiple offers that your clients NEED? ✨ Are you still exchanging money for time, or VALUE for money? Whenever we blaze the trail out of autopilot emplo Whenever we blaze the trail out of autopilot employment and into freedom entrepreneurship, we tend to only unhook our lives on the outside: 👉🏼 We replace a steady paycheck with temporarily unsteady revenue. 👉🏼 We replace a sickening boss with endless hours working for ourselves. 👉🏼 Our commute shrinks from hours in LA traffic to one minute from bed to desk. 👉🏼 We trade working on someone else’s dream to pursue our own… …Except… ‼️ We’ve not actually forgiven that boss—and so we avoid lucrative business partnerships. ‼️ We’ve not effectively updated the belief that success comes from hard work—and so we price our offers based on time spent instead of value provided. ‼️ Our belief that money is the villain walked right out of the office and into our business—and so we can’t hold on to the money we make. ‼️ And yeah—we still want to be loved. They say, “Do what works for you.” But seriously—how the fuck are you supposed to do that when your mom raised you to be a good girl?
When society trained you to ruffle as few feathers as humanly possible? → Here’s the answer: You heal that shit. Because here’s what I’ve learned over 10 years of supporting people to find—and finally live—their dreams: You can’t build a business that works for you if you’ve never explored what does.
