Freedom through entrepreneurship doesn't happen overnight.

Their 90-days to 6 figures plan may have worked for them, but it's not the norm.

It's these lies that might be keeping you stuck. Full of self doubt because you believe you should have succeeded by now.

I'm sorry. That's tough. Don't fret:

Building a business to a place where it's sustainable, scalable, and actually giving you back your time takes years of work, and an unwavering kinda belief in your vision.

It takes hard work.
It takes showing up when you want to pull the cover over your head.
It takes showing up the day after your mom kicked you out.
It takes showing up when you're PMSing (👋)
It takes doing the technical work you hate doing.
It takes getting uncomfortable af and persevering.
It takes showing up for your dream every day.

It also takes knowing what you're doing it all for and recognizing on the daily that you're one inch closer today than you were yesterday.

Building freedom through business doesn't start off with freedom of time.

Freedom is the goal.

The way is partly freedom because you get to determine (and have to, if you're going to be successful), what you do, how you do it, and who you do it for.

But the fruits of time and location independence are that: fruits of your hard labor, not the snack along the way.
They're oh-so-sweet. Nothing quite like it.

Just, please, don't think you're behind or supposed to be working less.
You're likely not. You're likely right on time.

Having a revenue plan that will lead to freedom is the key to creating time and location freedom through your coaching business.

Not just any business model will do.

Last year, I'd achieved a big goal of mine: a full 1:1 client roster. I carried that roster while traveling full time, mostly between Asia and Europe.

Timezones seemed a fun game at first, until my body reminded me of my needs and put a stop to it 🤔

I realized that relying on 1:1 coaching clients wasn't going to pave the way to true location independence and time freedom. 😕

So I went and created some big shifts. I now know exactly how and when I'll bring in revenue and through which packages.

Hear that? Packages? Yes, that's me serving big time, and huge-time asynchronously.

A freedom revenue plan must entail:
💕 low and mid ticket evergreen offers + some live offers that are high ticket
💕a clear launch plan for each offer that emulates your client's natural business journey (eg, a planning masterclass comes before a sales masterclass)
💕a deep understanding of who you are and what your clients need + willingness to speak as YOU to actual needs.

Yes, i still maintain private clients and even plan a mastermind. But having small numbers of both makes it possible for me, and the energy of these containers is just unmatched.

1️⃣ time independent coaching offers.
Sustaining a business that relies on you showing up for clients around the clock won't be sustainable when you travel through different time zones. Possible, yes, but not sustainable.

2️⃣ systems and project management that travel.
It's great to have quarterly goals, but how's that compute with destination changes every 2 months? Your projects need to integrate with your travel plans. Travel cannot be an after thought. Integrating your life, and accounting for the stress the body is in while moving to a new environment, is an often-overlooked must for traveling coaches.

3️⃣ a sales mechanism that works for you around the clock, while you're asleep.
Or while you're awake but your clients are asleep on the other side of the world. If your only mode of selling is on live calls, you're limiting either your destinations or your revenue to the overlap in waking hours.

💕 it's taken me years of traveling to realize that the way I was running my business (high ticket one on one clients, created through free service) was totally, absolutely, freaking unsustainable with timezones, physical needs, and travel.

Instead of stopping to travel or burning down the business, I leaned into WHAT I NEEDED FROM THE BUSINESS. Yes, revenue dipped while I implemented the changes. But it recovered, and so did I. And so now we grow sustainably (and somewhat exponentially, too)

If you're a human who loves to travel, work in their own time, and somehow find a way to have massive impact (like, generational societal impact), make tons of profits, and work way less, you're in the right corner of the internet. Grab a drink and say hi 👋

I've also seen other try to 'scale' their one on one to multiple six figures.

Listen, this is HARD af if you're not traveling.
If you're location independent, try traveling through time zones and getting used to new super markets and commutes with a full one on one client roster.

Seriously, good effing luck. It won't work.

You'll be chained to your desk. While traveling full time.
You'll be committed to a strict call schedule. While traveling full time.
You'll be trading time for money. While saying that you're chasing (or 'living') life on your own terms.

Besides, when did biz coaches come up with the phrase "scale your coaching biz with high ticket 1:1 and masterminds."?!

Saying that you're scaling by trading your time makes no sense.

This won't work (not until we can literally clone ourselves).

What will work is this:
1️⃣ Figure out what it is your business should do for you. Income, time freedom, ability to speak your mind, generational wealth, breaking the mold.

2️⃣ Figure out a business structure that can support that dream. Spoiler: One on one won't be it. No matter how much you increase your fees and "remove money blocks".

3️⃣ grow an audience that is here for YOU. Not an audience you have to tailor to. Speak your mind.

Well, there's more. We'd all be thriving if there were only three clearly defined steps to 6 figures. But it STARTS HERE.

Stop doing the shit trendy coaches tell you to do. No DMs. No 'scaling with one on one'.

Sit down and get clear on what you need. Then create a path there.

Show up boldly in every piece of content you put out.
Become a better coach by through training and financing your skills with a mentor coach.
Activate your existing network and deepen connections.
Grow your audience organically.
Get clear on what you coach on and stick with it.
Grow your mindset and vision beyond what's imaginable.

Truth is, DMs are keeping you small.
They're keeping you stuck in a scarcity mindset (because thoughts create actions and actions perpetuate thoughts).
DMs are also keeping your biz small and stuck in "just need one more client" (because you're not trusting that it can grow and attract the right audience, because you don't trust yourself)

But hey, if you've sent cold DMs and now regret it, don't be ashamed. I'll be the first to raise hand here.

The internet is full of advice centered around cold DMs. And it's sort of a right of passage.
Time to forgive and move on.

My invitation is to run an experiment:
Give yourself one month without messaging people out of the blue.
Instead, post bravely about what is on your mind and (this is crucial) deepen your existing connections.

❌️DMs waste your time and create mistrust amongst your connections. You're missing out on building trust organically and damaging a heart connection that could lead to a client, referral, or other opportunity down the line.

✅️Instead, utilize your existing connections and experience to understand your ideal client's dreams and desires, and why they believe they can't have it.

❌️You'll need a website down the line, ofc, but starting with it, tweaking and tinkering with the fonts and colors is a waste of time.

✅️Instead, go out into the world and tell everyone that you're a coach now. Tell them what you're coaching on, why you're so excited about it, and what the biz will do for you & clients.

❌️Do not over-consume social media. You'll end up subconsciously trying to emulate another's content and your own personality will get washed out.

✅️Hire a business coach, put your head down humbly, and show up boldly to every task your gut and your mentor tell you to take.

❌️Creating a biz on 1:1 is dangerous: it doesn't travel, it doesn't scale, it doesn't allow for sick days, it only makes money when you show up (timezones are a b...)

✅️Learn how to package your expertise into trainings and deliver these trainings as stand-alone and as part of bigger offers. This is where the creativity is endless and where your magic turns into life changing moments for you and clients.

Been there done that.

Last year my calendar was packed with one on one client calls.

Outside of calls, I was trying to create more clients because $$ still needed to come in.

In the back of mind, I didn't quite know where to put more clients.

In my heart, I didn't want more clients.

It felt like that dream I'd worked so hard to create (full roster) turned out to be a nightmare that was losing me money.

Because it freaking was: I only had one offer (thousands of $$) and no time to create anything new outside of the one offer I was not only seling but actively delivering on.

Side note: I loved all my clients. If I had 48 hours in a day, we'd have a different conversation.

But I don't. So I shifted two huge things and now I'm sitting in my backyard with the dog next to me and the mower mowing at the neighbors':

Audience growth = more clients
Instead of creating one private client after the other, spending hours of my time in free calls, I stopped that and moved hard into audience growth through my blog and IG. With a larger audience, it makes sense to serve in more accessible and scalable ways (did you know these were the same thing? ... 📩 bio to learn how)

Coaching + teaching = more offers
I remembered and then fully embraced how great of a teacher i am and noticed that when I worked with my coach clients, I was teaching AND coaching. Teaching is scalable and to move it out of the coaching call is both scalable for me and a way better service for my clients (how? Bio...Tuesday...free webinar)

I'm still pivoting, in the freaking middle of it. It's not always pretty, but boy it's fun, aligned, accessible (hello, $29 masterclasses), and builds an *actually* freedom based business that let's me travel through time zones.
